Mad-Macs/Netstream Crawfish Ice Hockey Team

SIX-Time Champions of Tier II at the University of Delaware Adult Hockey League (Winter 2013, 2014, 2015, 2024, 2026; Spring 2019). Our Winter seasons are sponsored by the good people at Mad-Macs Bar & Grill and Netstream. The Spring/Summer seasons sponsored by Club Life (Kirkwood Country Club/Cork & Barrel). After a season of being called the Toilet Ducks, the team cast their vote and suggestions to rename the team. The Crawfish was chosen for the Summer 2011 season and the new logo was designed through Matt Clark. Toilet Ducks (what a name!!!) chosen because of the loss of our Conectiv sponsor due to economic closures and buy-outs during the Summer 2010 season. Conectiv Energy Ice Hockey officially started in the Spring of 2001 when a Delaware Generation Company decided to sponsor a rag-tag group of hockey players initially called the Mountain Men. Captained by the colorful personality of Jake Collins, the Mountain Men played hard and had early successes on the ice, more importantly they tailgated after games.  After the internet bubble burst in 2000, the team needed a sponsor to keep the dream alive.  Janvier Jewelers stepped in and the Mountain Men were now the Diamond Dogs. After 1 year as the Dogs, Conectiv Energy stepped up to the plate as the team's official corporate sponsor and the Conectiv Energy Crease Monkeys were born. The team has become a force to be reckoned in Delaware adult leagues, intimidating opponents with a hard-nosed style of play.
